Saigon City Vietnamese Seafood Restaurant Newport

Tasty, reasonably priced and friendly. This gem of an asian restaurant has all the flavours you'd expect. On the main road in the middle of Newport shopping strip, this gets popular on the weekend so you better book if you have a group. Seating is inside or outside in a gazebo type shelter.

BYO and no corkage. Sweet.

They do banquets for at least 4 persons. We had Vegetarian Rice Paper Rolls, fresh and clean with a spicy dipping sauce.

The chicken satay sticks were a generous serve. I think I could have stopped here but we ordered two more mains.

The special Green Mango prawn salad was spicy and lime infused. A good contrast was the Chicken with Cashew Nuts.
